What is a teleseminar? It's simply a seminar that takes place over the telephone. This is a convenient and cost-effective way for people throughout the country to take one of Jane Eckert's seminars, you don't have to travel anywhere. You don't have to pay to attend an expensive conference. You simply call into a long-distance telephone number to participate. In effect, it is a giant conference call.

How much does it cost? Eckert AgriMarketing charges a fee for each teleseminar, as listed under each teleseminar name. Also, you will have to pay for the long-distance call as you would any other long distance call from your home. (We don't make any money whatsoever on the long distance call.)

How do I register for an Eckert AgriMarketing Teleseminar? You can register online by clicking the link beside the teleseminar of your choice (click here to review current topics ). You can also register by phone using your credit card, or simple make a reservation by phone or email, and send your check by mail. You will receive a confirmation by email, however your registration is not complete until we have received you payment.

How do I pay for the Eckert AgriMarketing Teleseminar? You can pay with a Mastercard or Visa or mail a check to our offices. Your registration is not complete until your payment is received.

What information will you send me after I register? We will send you an email including the long distance telephone number you will call in order to participate in the seminar. We also will send you a list of guidelines about how to get the most out of the teleseminar.

This is not a toll free number, so be sure to use a phone that has your best long distance rate. Most people should pay approximately $3.00 for a 60 minute call.

Will there be a handout for the teleseminar? Yes, there will be a handout to assist you in following the teleseminar. Registered individuals will be sent an email providing a link on this website where you can download the handout prior to the teleseminar.

Where do you call? When you sign up for the teleseminar, you will receive an email giving you the long distance telephone number to call in order to participate.

What if I am a little late calling in? I you dial in late, you can still participate. Also, we will create a CD of the teleseminar, which you may want to purchase in order to hear the entire content again. (Note: If you order the CD with your registration there is a significant savings!)

Is this just a lecture, or can I ask questions? You can email questions before the seminar, and I will answer as many of those questions as possible during my remarks. Then, during the last 15 minutes of the teleseminar, I will answer as many new questions as time allows.

Do I have to know how to use a computer? No, these teleseminars are not conducted via the Internet or a computer.

Can I talk to the presenter(s) during the call? Yes, you can speak to the presenters directly during the last 15 minutes of the teleseminar, when the discussion is opened for questions and comments from the participants.

I have call waiting. What if I get a call during the teleseminar? If you have "call waiting," please disable it before calling in. Check with your phone provider for directions on disabling "call waiting."

Can I talk to other participants during the call? We want to focus everybody on the presenter's information. Even if there are other people you know on the call, please refrain from exchanges like "Hi Sue!"

Can I use my speakerphone to have more than one person listen into the teleseminar? Yes, during the first 45 minutes, Jane will mask out all the background noise, which prevents others from hearing any of the other participants. During the last 15 minutes, it will be an open line, and we just ask that you be courteous and not make any unnecessary noise.

How can I get a CD copy of the teleseminar? All of Eckert AgriMarketing's teleseminars are offered on CD, after the conference. But of course you will not be able to ask questions if you aren't participating in the live seminar. (Note: If you order the CD with your registration there is a significant savings!)

If you are recording my voice, will I receive any compensation? When you register for the teleseminar, you are giving Eckert AgriMarketing permission to record your comments without any financial compensation or remuneration to you.

What if I want to cancel my participation? You can cancel up to 72 hours in advance and receive a full refund. This gives somebody on the waiting list a chance to participate. After 72 hours, we cannot return the teleseminar fee.
