American Agri-Women Television Features Agritourism

The American Agri-Women Show, a weekly television program for farm and ranch women, begins airing Tuesday, May 4, on In Country Television, at 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. EST on Direct TV and DISH Network. From everything I know, this will definitely be a great show to watch for both men and women in agriculture. Full disclaimer, though—the second show, airing on May 11, is all about Agritourism, and I am pleased to be a major contributor to the show's content.

“We are excited to be working with In Country to bring informative and entertaining programming to farm and ranch women,” said Chris Wilson, AAW President. “Each weekly show will feature a topic of concern to women in agriculture and tools and resources to help women in their farming and ranching operations. Each show will also include an on-farm interview with a woman in agriculture and how she is dealing with that topic. The first show on May 4 is regarding marketing your commodities and features farmer and commodities broker Betty Corbin of Towanda, KS, and Susan Dodsworth, a grain producer from Franklin, IL, involved in marketing her farm’s production.”

In Country Television is a full spectrum network with programming directed towards the outdoors enthusiast. Current programming focuses on agriculture, hunting, fishing, motorsports, equine and other outdoor recreational activities.
